Step Bolt

Step bolts are a type of bolt often used in conjunction with heavy hex nuts, and typically seen in electrical towers and communications applications. Step bolts are similar to carriage bolts, but are manufactured with a larger head and rounded profile. The length of the step bolt is usually quite long, from 6" to 10" or close to that range, with a wide variety of sizes in between. Step bolts are available in steel, zinc plated, and more.
